The Minnesota Transfer on Death Deed ("TODD") is a fairly new option for those owning Minnesota real property.  The TODD was codified in Minnesota Statute § 507.071 in 2008.  This Sectional will break down this Statute and review the positives and negatives of  using a TODD for an estate planning tool.

Our speaker is Jamie F. Held. Ms. Held assists individuals, couples and families in planning for tomorrow, today.  Ms. Held is committed to providing professional, personalized service in the areas of estate planning and estate and trust administration.  Ms. Held is dedicated to listening to her client’s concerns in order to provide practical solutions that meet specific needs as well as educating them so they understand their options and are able to make informed decisions.

Ms. Held's tax background, legal and accounting experience and knowledge enhance the estate planning and estate administrative services provided to clients.

Prior to law school, Ms. Held worked in the tax practice at a Big Four public accounting firm.  During law school, she clerked at a firm focusing in the areas of estate planning, real estate and small business.  Following law school, Ms. Held clerked for the Honorable R.A.
