MPA Leadership Training

MPA is pleased to announce its 2018 Leadership Training. This training is geared towards members interested in becoming leaders, members who are serving as leaders, and anyone interested in Board leadership. This year's theme is Remember the MEMBER.

Presentations are from the NFPA Joint Conference held earlier this year and will be presented by a variety of MPA members. Sectional training will be led by the Director of Professional Development, Lori Brandon.

A buffet-style lunch will be provided. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate and water will be provided; other drinks are available in a nearby vending machine.

GoToMeeting will be available for those who wish to attend virtually.

There is a 10-minute break between presentations for tech-change, bathroom break, etc.

10:00-10:50: Converting Members into Leaders

11:00--11:50: Building a Championship Board

12:00--1:00: Lunch and Discussion and Networking

1:00--2:00: Show Me the Money: Attracting Business Partners and Sponsors to Your Local Associations

2:00--3:00: Sectional Training (please note that if you are a Sectional leader or interested in becoming one--this training is especially for YOU!)
