• Best practices and quick solutions for ensuring compliance with the new regulatory and legislative changes.

Grant Collins - Felhaber Larson

Grant Collins practices in both employment law and traditional labor law. On the employment side, he defends complex wage-and-hour lawsuits, including resisting class certification, and advises clients on issues of termination, severance, and compliance. Grant’s traditional labor practice involves advising clients on a variety of labor-related issues, including the recent phenomenon of employee social media use, responding to unfair labor practice charges, and handling grievance arbitrations.

Grant stays current on labor and employment law by serving as co-editor of Minnesota Employment Law Report, an up-to-the-minute blog on the latest developments in labor and employment law in Minnesota and throughout the country. Through this work and his professional experience, he is a frequent commentator in the news media on labor and employment cases.

Caroline Bressman - Nichols Kaster

Caroline represents thousands of workers in wage and hour collective, class, and hybrid matters arising under federal and state laws. She has advocated for the rights of workers across several industries, including positions such as background investigators, software engineers, home health aides, merchandisers, auto adjusters, yard switchers, and flooring estimators. In addition, Caroline has experience in handling single plaintiff discrimination, retaliation, and contract-based claims. Caroline regularly manages discovery and has experience in bringing and opposing dispositive motions. Whether representing a multi-hundred collective or a single individual, Caroline's meticulous approach and curiosity of the law equip her to tackle complex legal issues. Caroline also serves on the Business Development Group and the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee within the firm.
