Topic: MN Rules of General Practice - Rule 11, Submission of Confidential Information (Restricted Identifiers vs. Confidential Information)

During this presentation, Mr. Lane will discuss the difference between restricted identifiers and confidential information, and how these documents should be filed with the Court along with what happens when they are improperly filed.

Speaker: Sean Lane, Court Operations Supervisor - Ramsey County Court Filing & Child Support

Sean Lane has been in his current position for five years and counting.  He oversees the day to day operation of both electronic and paper filings as well as oversight of the Expedited Process filings and calendars.  He is also tasked with performance management as a supervisor. 

Prior to his work as the Court Operations Supervisor, he was a family court paralegal (2008 - 2014) working within the Ramsey County Family Court Self Help Service Center assisting self-represented litigants.  He began working within the Judicial Branch in 2006 as a Senior Court Clerk within the Ramsey County Traffic Violations Bureau. 

Mr. Lane began his professional career working for the Department of Corrections as a correctional officer at MCF-Stillwater in 2000, and has been a State employee for approximately 20 years.
