Topic: What Paralegals Need to Know about Social Media

Social media evidence is playing an increasing role in the outcomes of family law cases. Do you know what information can be gathered and how it can be used? This continuing education class will explore the different forms of social media that paralegals should know about. We will teach you the best methods for obtaining relevant social media evidence and then discuss how the information can be shared with the court.


Speaker:  Tifanne E.E. Wolter

TIFANNE E.E. WOLTER is an attorney with Henningson & Snoxell Ltd. She has practiced family law exclusively for more than a decade. Ms. Wolter has assisted a wide array of clients with divorce, custody, paternity, child support, third party custody, parenting time, and domestic abuse matters. She is trained in mediation, and, upon graduating from law school, she obtained a certificate in dispute resolution from Hamline University School of Law. After earning her Juris Doctorate degree, Ms. Wolter worked for Legal Aid and helped victims of domestic abuse and low income clients with family law issues. She is the past chairperson for the Minnesota State Bar Association (Family Law Section). Ms. Wolter has been involved with the Family Law Section for many years. Previously she was the assembly representative, vice chairperson and chairperson of publications. She earned her B.A. degree from Concordia College, Moorhead, Minnesota and her J.D. degree from Hamline University School of Law,St. Paul, Minnesota.
