Topic: Surviving Family Law
Attorney Mary Dunlap will be discussing her practice area of Family Law from the perspective of a 32-year veteran. She will talk about the role of the paralegal in the practice, ethical issues faced, practicing in the world of COVID-19, and how to survive the Family Law practice.
Speaker: Mary Dunlap
Mary H. Dunlap, of Mary H. Dunlap Mediation LLC, is an attorney who practices family law in Rochester, Minnesota. Her current practice includes Social Early Neutral Evaluation, Financial Early Neutral Evaluation and Arbitration. She focuses on representing and advocating for clients in the following areas of family law: dissolution, custody, parenting time, paternity, grandparent rights, child support, adoption, spousal maintenance, child protection, property distribution, financial distribution, debt distribution, pension/retirement, post-decree motions, prenuptial agreements, domestic abuse, orders for protection, and harassment restraining orders.
Ms. Dunlap obtained a BA at Drake University in 1978 and a JD at the University of Minnesota in 1981. She has trained as both a Social Early Neutral Evaluator and a Financial Early Neutral Evaluator since 2009. Prior to her current business, she practiced at Dunlap & Seeger for over 30 years.
