Topic: Patient Brokering & the Rehab Shuffle with Brianna Jaynes

The presentation will include an overview of motivational speaker Brianna Jaynes personal story of overcoming addiction and her experience of being brokered within the “Rehab Shuffle” industry in South Florida. The presentation will focus on the issues surrounding patient brokering and common tactics used by those within the recovery industry to recruit people with addiction.

Speaker:  Brianna Jaynes

Brianna Jaynes is the founder of Breaking Chains, an organization driven to spread awareness about the danger of addiction and substance abuse. They are a team of recovering addicts that share their stories in short films in the hope that a fellow addict will decide to take the first steps towards a new life. This organization is dedicated to Brianna’s sister, Whitney Ashlyn Jaynes, who overdosed and died November 2018 at 20 years old. Brianna will forever fight for her sister, her own life and those around her. Brianna is a recovering heroin addict, nurse and mother striving to complete her purpose, which is saving the lives of others.
