Topic:  2021 New Alta Standards

An overview of the new 2021 Alta Standards Effective February 23, 2021.

Speakers: Nancy Landmark and Max Stanislowski

Nancy has been known for her depth of knowledge, experience and dedication in the transfer of real property. Recently named an elite designee and Minnesota’s First National Title Professional (NTP), this distinction award recognizes Nancy for her achievements and commitment to the land title industry. Her broad skills have been gained from working her way from associate to partner tosole practitioner in private practice and then as examiner and production manager within the title industry.

Nancy joined Commercial Partners Title in 2005, bringing her expertise in examining and underwriting. Added to this is her experience gained from active litigation in personal injury, commercial disputes, and family law and probate matters. Nancy’s years of service and knowledge have enriched the culture of Commercial Partners Title and exemplifies her level of talent in providing title insurancesolutions to clients. Her unique understanding of the complex relationship between real estate and other legal areas is second to none.

Nancy is a member of the Hennepin County Bar Association, Minnesota State Bar Association, North Dakota Bar Association, and Minnesota Land Title Association. In her personal life, Nancy enjoys spending time with her husband, two children and their sheltie as well as reading and creating intricate designs in stained glass, fused glass and needlepoint. Whether she’s focused on complex land title needs for a specific client, involved with industry events, or creating beautiful craft work, Nancy can put togetherdetails to execute exceptional solutions.

Since 1996, Max Stanislowski has researched, drafted, reviewed, approved, certified, and managed dozens of surveying projects for a wide range of corporate,industrial, office, healthcare, public, and multifamily clients.

Specific areas of expertise include Boundary & Topographic Surveys, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, Subdivision Plats, C.I.C. Plats, writing legal descriptions, construction staking and as-built surveys.
