Topic: The VIRTUAL Legal Professional – Best Practices, Innovation and Challenges in our virtual work environment re: data privacy, data security, discovery and technology

Technology is ubiquitous in every industry including the legal industry, and we rely on it in our daily lives - now more than ever as we have transitioned from office to remote work for the past two years and counting. For some of us, remote work may be our new normal for the foreseeable future. But for all of us, technology will continue to have an impact and be a necessity for every legal professional as we adapt in our virtual world. And where there is technology – there is the increased risk that your work and your world will experience a compromise in your privacy and security. Now, more than ever, we need to embrace technology while understanding how to protect ourselves and our clients.

Learn what technologies and tools are transforming the practice of law, how corporations/law firms/courts have overcome issues and challenges and adapted to our virtual world, how we leverage existing and emerging legal technology to increase efficiency and effective communications, how to manage and ensure data security and data privacy of increased volumes of electronic data, learn best practices for discovery and data management, and ultimately, what changes and solutions we believe will prove sustainable.
