Topic: Administrative Procedures at the EPO

Join Barker Brettell for an informative CLE session covering the range of tasks and procedures inherent in patent lifecycles at the European Patent office. This webinar will present a general overview of patent prosecution in Europe, including EP national phase, direct and divisional filing. Both paralegal and attorney responsibilities will be discussed, with UK/European and US perspectives. Specific sections will review procedures for EP patent filing, prosecution, grant and post-grant. Filing requirements, deadlines (including which ones can be extended), grace periods, and when an EP application is lost. Fun IP facts and trivia will be shared to keep things lively and interesting.

All members are welcome, but the presentation is designed for junior IP paralegals and those with no intellectual property experience who'd like to explore it as a career option - or simply learn more about European IP.

We look forward to seeing you!
